Refunds and Exchanges new policies
The return and exchange policy subject has been quite difficult for me. I always debated whether to allow or not the exchanges of panties in my store. On one hand you trust in your product and your patterns and would like to give customers the confidence that they are buying a good product, made with that special passion of handmade things and that never, ever you would want them to loose money because of a mistake. But I always thought about the counterpart: Would anyone buy a slip without the assurance that no one else has tried it before? It is an intimate and delicate topic. It's a matter of hygiene and health and you don't play with that. That's the reason why i had never so far accepted exchanges or returns of these garments.
Well, I have good news!!! Last week I came up with a way to offer exchanges without affecting the hygiene issue. From now on all panties will have an hygienic protector (the one on the picture) so that you can try them out and avoid getting stuck with a slip of a size that does not match and that will be stored at the back of a drawer, probably along with many others. What do you think of this new policy? Does it actually increase your confidence level of buying intimate pieces on-line?
Tips: Even with this hygienic protector, always try out your clothes over other garments, never directly on the skin and never, ever take off the protector before you try on the clothes. If for some reason an item is returned and sold to someone else, it will obviously have a new protector.
El tema de la política de cambios y devoluciones ha sido bastante difícil para mí. Siempre me había debatido entre permitir o no los cambios de braguitas en mi tienda. Por un lado confías mucho en tu producto y tus patrones y quisieras darle a los clientes la confianza de que están comprando un buen producto, hecho con esa pasión especial de las cosas hechas a mano y que nunca, pero nunca, quisieras que por un error perdiera su dinero, pero siempre pesaba más la contraparte: ¿Alguien se compraría una braguita sin la seguridad de que nadie mas se la haya probado antes? Es un tema tan íntimo y delicado!... Es cuestión de higiene y salud y con eso no se juega. Por eso hasta ahora nunca había aceptado cambios o devoluciones de estas prendas.
Pues les tengo buenas noticias!!! la semana pasada se me ocurrió una manera de ofrecer cambios sin que el tema de la higiene se viera afectado. A partir de ahora todas las braguitas llevan un protector (el de la foto) para que las puedas probar y evitar así que tengas que quedarte con una braguita de una talla que no te corresponde y que quedará almacenada en el cajón, al fondo, seguro junto con otras muchas. Que opinas de esta nueva política? Aumenta realmente tu nivel de confianza para comprar piezas íntimas en Internet?
Consejos: Aunque lleven el protector, intenta siempre probarte tus prendas sobre otras prendas. Nunca directamente sobre la piel y nunca, pero nunca, quites el protector antes de probarte las prendas. Si por algún motivo una prenda es devuelta y vendida a otra persona obviamente llevará un nuevo protector.

Spring has finally arrived. This is my favorite season, especially now that I'm surrounded by woods and flowers, is really beautiful to see how everything is transformed. That has me in a good mood so I decided to celebrate the arrival of the flowers with events and new things in the store:

Finalmente ha llegado la primavera, y como le ha costado este año instalarse! Esta es mi estación favorita, sobretodo ahora que estoy rodeada de bosques y flores, es realmente precioso ver como se va transformando todo. Eso me tiene de muy buen humor así que he decidido celebrar la llegada de las flores con eventos y cosas nuevas en la tienda:

Vaya año!!!
The 2012 has been to me like a roller coaster, but luckily the good stuff crushed and far outweigh the not so good, so this new year,I'm looking forward on doing my list of resolutions and wishes for 2013. For now I'll keep it for myself, there are things I have to work hard on, but you will be the first to know every achievement.
The last time I wrote I did it from what it was my new city, but (and here is where you can laugh) we have now a newer and hopefully more definitive one.
This change has led me to what seems an incompatible mixture of feelings. On one side a little disappointed for not living in the city that I dreamed so much for so long (that's Amsterdam); on the other, the greatest sense of peace I have felt in my life, in a small town that I didn't even know it existed. A city where my family is happy as a clam, that surprises me every day with the best it has: its people! And that is just a short train ride from my dream city, which by the way I'm already beginning to see a bit too big, noisy and hectic compared to my haven of peace.
Today I leave you with a couple of photos with a bit of what we have experienced in the recent months. Hiking, snow, visits, Christmas and all that comes from meeting a new city! Ahhh, my first knitting project finished! I wish you a 2013 full of dreams, goals, work, happiness, good company and millions of opportunities to get in touch.
El 2012 ha sido para mí como una montaña rusa, pero por suerte las cosas buenas aplastan y sobrepasan por mucho a las no tan buenas, así que este fin de año, estoy haciendo con muchas ganas mi lista de propósitos y deseos para el 2013. Por ahora me la quedo para mi, hay cosas que tengo que trabajar mucho, pero serán los primeros en saber cada logro.
La última vez que escribí lo hice desde la que era mi nueva ciudad, pero (y ahora es cuando se pueden reír) ya tenemos una mas nueva y espero que definitiva.
Este cambio me ha generado una mezcla de que parece incompatible de sensaciones. Por un lado un poco de desilusión de no estar viviendo en la ciudad que tanto soñé durante tanto tiempo (esa es Amsterdam); por el otro, la sensación de paz más grande que he sentido en mi vida, en una ciudad pequeña que ni sabía que existía. Una ciudad en la que mi familia está mas feliz que una lombriz, que me sorprende cada día lo mejor que tiene: su gente! Y que está solo a un ratito en tren de mi ciudad soñada, que por cierto ya comienzo a ver como demasiado grande, ruidosa y agitada comparada con mi paraíso de paz.
Hoy les dejo unas fotos con un poquito de lo que hemos vivido en los últimos meses. Paseos, nieve, visitas, navidad y todo lo que tiene conocer una nueva ciudad! Ahhh y mi primer proyecto de tejido terminado! Les deseo un 2013 lleno de ilusiones, metas, trabajo, alegrías, buena compañía y millones de ocasiones para estar en contacto.

New home
We live in a charming little town where I feel a little like Snow White in the forest. There are so many parks and so beautiful .....
I wanted to show you a little of what I see every day when I go out bicicling from our incredible friends' house in which we live (we do not have our own yet, but we will get there soon).
My sewing machines, fabrics and all materials remain in Spain hoping that I may bring them. I feel empty without them, I need to sewwwwwww. Hopefully in a couple of weeks I will have everything here to get the new collection out.

Hola a todos, tanto tiempo!!!! Esta vez les escribo al fin!!!!!!!! desde nuestro nuevo hogar; Holanda.
Vivimos en una pequeña y encantadora ciudad en la que me siento un poco como Blancanieves en el bosque. Hay tantos parques y tan bonitos.....
Les quería mostrar un poco de lo que veo cada día cuando salgo en bicicleta de la casa de unos increíbles amigos en la que estamos viviendo (aún no tenemos la nuestra, pero se que pronto lo conseguiremos).
Mis máquinas de coser, telas y todos los materiales siguen en España esperando que los pueda traer. Me siento vacía sin ellos, necesito coseeeeeeeeer. Espero en un par de semanas tenerlo todo aquí para sacar la nueva colección.
